| Mr. Allen H. Robbins, 84, of Shelby, NC passed away on Tuesday, January 24, 2012. Services were held at Cleveland Funeral Services Chapel. Burial was in Cleveland Memorial Park.
Mr. Robbins served in the US Coast Guard.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Hoyle V. Robbins and Rilla Towery Robbins; sisters: Beatrice Poteat, Ruby Dycus, Brunna Philbeck, Mattie Polistrini, Edith Hunt and Polly Freeman; brothers: Lawrence Robbins, Harold Robbins and Davis Robbins.
He is survived by his daughter, Tammy R. Chap-man and husband Mike of Shelby; 2 grandchildren; brothers, Ernest Robbins of Virginia and Horace Robbins and wife Lavonne of Lavonia, GA; sister, Merle Lackey of Shelby and many nieces and nephews.
