Mr. Burris Endel Ramey, Sr., 76, resident of 106 Candlewood Lane, Kings Mountain, NC, passed away Monday, June 21, 2010. A Memorial Service was held at Central United Methodist Church.
Mr. Ramey was preceded in death by his parents, Endel Lee Ramey and Ethel Stansell Ramey; 1 brother; and 1 grandchild.
He is survived by his wife of 55 years, Peggy Shealy Ramey of Kings Mtn., NC; 1 son, Burris Endel Ramey, Jr. “Buddy” and his wife Lisa of Kings Mountain; 3 daughters, Melanie R. Gordon and husband Bob of Charlotte, NC, Sheila R. Yokeley and husband Jimmy of Wilmington, NC, and Faye R. Kerns and husband Clyde of Kings Mountain, NC; and 10 grandchildren.
