Mr. Charles Webb, 77, of Shelby passed away on May 20, 2012.  Services were held at Pleasant Ridge Baptist Church.  Burial followed in the Church Cemetery.

Mr. Webb was preceded in death by his parents Yates Everett Webb and Morie Wright Webb; son, Chappell Parton; daughter, Kristin Andrews Tucker.  

He is survived by his wife, Cathleen Hobart Webb of the home; a son, Charles Martin Webb, II & wife, Cindy of Shelby; daughters, Sandra Webb Dillingham of Statesville, Penny Parton McDade & husband, Greg of Huntersville; a sister, Mary Ruth Webb Whitaker and husband, Wayne of Shelby and an aunt, Irene Wright of Shelby, fourteen grandchildren and a number of great grandchildren. 

The family would like to extend a special thanks to the entire David & Patricia Hobart family and dear friends, Charles & Sally Jones for the support shown to Charles.
