Clayton "Clay" Eric Collins, 37, 253 Garden Lakes Drive, Blacksburg, SC, passed away March 22, 2015, at home. Born in Cleveland County, NC, he was the son of Yvonne Hawkins Blanton of the home and the late Ronnie D. Collins. He was also preceded in death by his step-father, Claude Blanton. He was employed by Ryder Cold Storage.
A Celebration Of Life Service will be held Wednesday, March 25, 2015, 3:00 PM, at Blacksburg First Baptist Church, with Revs. Scott Hammett, Ken Reid and Dr. Joel T. Hawkins officiating. Burial will follow at Clingman Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends at the cemetery following interment. At other times, they will be at the home.
