Clifford Emery, 76, of 303 Lily Street, passed away Monday, February 17th, 2014, at Peak Resource in Shelby, NC.
Born in Shelby, Mr. Emery was the son of the late Willie and Carrie Mae Bright Emery. He retired as an attendant at a filling station and was a member of Lily Memorial Baptist Church. Mr. Emery was also a volunteer fireman with Shanghai Volunteer Fire Department in Shelby.
Mr. Emery is survived by one sister, Lillie Mae Blankenship, of Spartanburg, SC.
In addition to his parents, Mr. Emery was preceded in death by two brothers, David and Gilbert Lee Emery.
The family will receive friends Saturday, February 22nd, 2014, from 2:00 pm - 3:00 pm at Mt. Ararat Baptist Church Cemetery. Graveside services will immediately follow at 3:00 pm.
The family will be at their respective homes.
