Mrs. Edith Corene Wise Cook, 80 of Vale, NC passed away Saturday, September 4, 2010. Services were held at Stamey Funeral Home Chapel. Burial followed in Rose Hill Memorial Park, Fallston, NC.
Mrs. Cook was preceded in death by her parents, Lester Jacob Wise and Lillie Maebell Young Wise; 1 daughter, Vickie Sue Cook Halloway; and a brother, Ralph Wise.
He is survived by her husband of 53 years, D.C. Cook; 2 brothers, Clarence Wise of Hickory and Odell Wise of Vale; and 2 sisters, Vergie Hoyle of Vale and Ellen Kiser of Stanley, NC.
