Mrs. Elaine Ruppe Overcash, 64, of  Kings Mountain, NC,  passed away Thursday, May 13, 2010. Services were held at Christian Freedom Baptist Church. Burial followed in the church cemetery.

Mrs. Overcash was preceded in death by her parents, Samuel Huntley and Oma Parris Ruppe.

She is survived by her loving husband, George William Overcash, Jr.; 1 son, Kevin Branch of Gaffney, SC; 1 daughter, Kathy Falls and husband Jeff of Grover; 1 step-daughter, Janel Saunders of Shelby; 2 sisters, Genelle Sims of Gaffney, SC and Merrill Ruppe of Myrtle Beach, SC; 4 grandchildren; 3 step-grandchildren; and 1 great-step-granddaughter.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to: Victory Junction, 4500 Adam’s Way, Randleman, NC 27317.
