| First Baptist Church Is Getting A Facelift |
|
First Baptist Church on N. Lafayette Street in Shelby is truly a landmark in Cleveland County and it’s getting a prevention facelift. A crack was discovered in the wall on the north side of the building. Here, workers were up on their boom lifts cleaning and repairing the mortar at the area of concern. Since 1847, the people of First Baptist Church have endeavored to lift up Jesus through worship, teaching, music, drama, fellowship, missions and ministry.
