Mrs. Helen Jane Bost Hardin, 90, of 204 Cameron St., Shelby, NC, passed away Wednesday, July 28, 2010. Services were held at Clay-Barnette Funeral Home Chapel. Burial followed in Cleveland Memorial Park.
Mrs. Hardin was preceded in death by her husband, Benjamin Hardin; her parents, Jess and Maude Smith Bost; 1 daughter, Peggy Jane Pellor; 4 brothers; and 1 sister.
She is survived by 2 daughters, Beatrice Phipps of Raleigh, and Faye Powell and husband Michael of Shelby; 1 brother, Douglas Bost and wife Doris of Inman, SC; 9 grandchildren; 20 great-grandchildren; and many great-great-grandchildren.
