Ms. Sarah Jean Weaver Menscer, 80, of 3365 Hollis Road, Polkville, NC, passed away Monday, May 31, 2010. Services were held at Polkville Baptist Church, Polkville, NC. Burial followed in the church cemetery.
Ms. Menscer was preceded in death by her parents, Audie Everette Weaver and Jessie Rebecca Moss Weaver; and 2 sons, Reggie and Mark Marshall.
She is survived by 3 daughters, Penny Tanner and husband Tim of Lawndale, Rhonda Travis and husband Danny of Lincolnton, NC, and Paige Beaver and husband Gary of Polkville; 1 brother, Walter Weaver of Ft. Walton Beach, Florida; 2 sisters, Katherine Fletcher of Lincolnton, and Alma Gaffney of Elkin; 8 grandchildren, Jeff Adams, Kim Conley, Ashley Ritch, Brent Travis, Brandi Queen, Ashley Travis, Malia Beaver and Mark Marshall; and 9 great-grandchildren.
