Malinda Childers Moss, 56, of 425 North Rutherford Street, passed away on Friday, January 6th, 2023, at Spartanburg Medical Center.

Born in Shelby, NC, she was the daughter of the late Samuel Childers and Dorothy Moss Carroll . Malinda formerly worked in food service.

Surviving Ms. Moss are her children, Robbie Moss (Tara), Bobby Moss (Crystal), and Candace Moss (Jared Nicholson); her sister, Vickie Wright (Herbert); her grandchildren, Trevor, Jordan, Mikey, Hunter, Triston, Brayden, Jared, Jr., Danielle, Gabriella, and Justin; and her great-grandson, Lewkka.

In addition to her parents, Moss was preceded in death by her brother, Samuel Childers, Jr.

The family will receive friends on Tuesday, January 10, 2023 from 2:00 - 3;00 pm at Gordon Mortuary, 400 West Cherokee Street, Blacksburg, SC . Funeral services will immediately follow in the chapel at 3:00 pm.

The family will be at their respective homes.
