| Martha Sapoch McGlothan, 87, of 1372 E. Cherokee Street, Blacksburg, SC, passed away Thursday, August 21, 2014, at Autumn Care of Drexel, Drexel, NC. A native of Cherokee County, SC, she was the wife of the late Charles W. McGlothan and a daughter of the late Wince and Effie Moore Sapoch. She was retired from Timken.
She is survived by one son - Mark McGlothan of Blacksburg, SC; one daughter Hilda Brittain and husband, Jerry, of Hickory, NC; one grandson - Jason Brittain and wife, Connie; and two great-grandchldren - Jessica and Jayden Brittain. In addition to her husband and parents, she is preceeded in death by three brothers - James Sapoch, J. D. Sapoch, and Forest Sapoch, and two sisters - Lydia McDaniel and Lucy Chalker.
A cryptside Celebration Of Life Service will be held at Clingman Memorial Gardens, Blacksburg, SC, 2:00 PM, Saturday, August 23, 2014, with Rev. Eddie Sapoch officiating. At other times, they will be at their respective homes.
