Phyllis White Emery

Phyllis White Emery, 78, went home to be with the Lord on Wednesday, July 12th, 2023, at the Spartanburg Regional Hospice House surrounded by her loved ones.

Born in Cowpens, SC, Phyllis was the daughter of the late Robert Alonzo White and Myrtle Hopper White. She retired from the Timken Company after 30 years. She enjoyed going out to eat with her sisters and spending time with her family. She loved her family, shopping, pizza, anything chocolate, and watching her favorite TV shows. She will definitely be missed by her family and friends.

She leaves behind her son, Jerry Wayne Emery, of Blacksburg; two step-children, Gary Emery and Sandy Lesueur; one sister, Janice Goforth, of Gaffney; granddaughter and special caregiver, Casey (Bryan) Ellis of Grover, NC, and grandson, Thomas Goode, of Cowpens, and many loved great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild on the way; and numerous nieces and nephews. She had two very special friends, Nikki (nurse) and Lara (Chaplin) of Hospice.

In addition to her parents, Ms. Emery was preceded in death by a grandson, Manuel Goode, brother, Robert A. White Jr., and sister, Jean Ortega, and her special long-time companion, her sweet dog "Max".

At Phyllis''s request, funeral services will be private.

The family will be at their respective homes.
