Mr. Ray Brooks, 78, of 118 Woods Trail, Gastonia, NC, passed away Friday, June 11, 2010. Services were held at Trinity Baptist Church, Bessemer, NC. Burial followed in Gaston Memorial Park, Gastonia, NC.
Mr. Brooks was preceded in death by his parents, Algar and Mary Wallace Brooks; 1 brother; and 1 sister.
He is survived by his wife of 59 years, Dorothy Bradley Brooks of Gastonia, NC; 2 daughters, Rebecca B. Parris and husband Robert, and Judy B. Holcomb, all of Kings Mountain, NC; 4 grandchildren; and 5 great-grandchildren.
