| Rebecca Hamrick Pearson, 74 of Casar, NC passed away on Wednesday, September 7, 2011. Services were held at Morris Memorial Baptist Church. Burial was held in the church cemetery.
Mrs. Pearson was preceded in death by her parents, Joseph Claude Hamrick and Clara Cooper Hamrick; her son, Jason Wade Pearson; brothers, J. Y. Hamrick, Rev. Joseph Hamrick, Howard Hamrick; several step-brothers; sisters, Myrtle Hawkins, Brenda H. Bridges, two infant twin sisters and several stepsisters.
She is survived by her husband of 51 years: Marion Jr. Pearson of the home; sons, Marion Keith Pearson and wife Tina of Casar; David Scott Pearson and wife Christina of Casar; Larry Mark Pearson and wife Donna of Casar; Barry Blaine Pearson of Casar; sister, Mary Sue Laughter of Hollis; Flossie Ragan of Blacksburg; Frances Hamrick of Kings Mountain; Godson, Dean Hawkins of Shelby; 8 grandchildren, 9 great grandchildren and a number of step grandchildren.
