Stephanie was born in Gaston County, NC on March 29, 1973, a daughter of Thomas Absher and Brenda Redmond.  She was a caretaker at nursing homes and was a member of Concord United Methodist Church in Bessemer City. 

In addition to her parents she is survived by her stepmother, Priscilla Absher of Shelby, a son and daughter-in-law, Douvhn Hamby, Jr. and Porscha of Shelby; a brother, Ricky Absher of Grover; a sister Valerie Absher of Sweetwater, TN and a granddaughter, Paislee Hamby.

Stephanie was preceded in death by her paternal grandparents Evan and Julia Absher.

Funeral Services and Burial will be Private.
