At Twin Chimneys Farm (circa 1817), located off Sam Lattimore in Shelby, the gathering of hay is underway. Our hot dry weather, this time of year, is the season for the golden harvest. The rolls and bales are collected in preparation for feeding livestock this coming winter. This typical farm scene is a sure sign of the beginning of summer.
