Virginia Ethel Holloway Curd

Virginia Ethel Holloway Curd, 78, of Polkville, passed away Monday, March
2, 2015, and became a rose bud that will never wilt.

She was born in Dinwiddie County, Virginia on, March 25, 1936 a daughter of
the late Joseph H. Holloway & Margaret Blankenship Holloway.

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband David
Franklin Curd Sr.; daughter Kamala Deva Curd; two brothers, Rodney Holloway
and Joseph Holloway Jr.; a sister Annette Killian; two great grandchildren,
Caitlin Massagee & Mckenna Massagee.

Survivors include three sons, David F. Curd, Jr & wife Susan of Gatlinburg,
Tennessee; Jeffrey Wayne Curd & wife Sandra of Tunnel Hill, Georgia, and
Evan Truelove of Polkville; two daughters, Diana Owens & Doug Jones of
Shelby and Cindy Queen & husband Mike of Polkville; seven grandchildren,
Jennifer Wright, Mathew Owens, Justin Queen, Bryan Curd, Austin Curd, Ryan
Curd, Megan Curd; two great grandchildren, Avery Hudson, and Holly Wright.

Visitation, 6:30PM- 8:00PM, Wednesday, Stamey - Tysinger Funeral Home &
Cremation Center, Inc., Fallston. Condolences may be made online at

Memorial Service, 2:00PM, Thursday, Stamey-Tysinger Funeral Home & Cremtion
Center Chapel.
