CHARLOTTE - William "Bill" Clardy, 82, passed away at his residence in Charlotte on June 22, 2015. He was native of Piedmont, SC and Cliffside, NC and a graduate of Cliffside High School. He retired from Bank of America and enjoyed traveling during his retirement. He was preceded in death by his parents Gifton Holoway White and Mary Clardy White and his sister Martha Vada White Haynes.
He is survived by one brother David Holoway White (Helen). He is also survived by one brother-in-law, George Haynes; 5 nephews Tim (Teresa), Scott (Ann), Marc (Susan), Pat (Lori) Haynes, Alan (Amy) White; 2 nieces, Lisa (Eric) Baynard and Sheila (Brandon) Atkins.
Receiving of friends will be from 2:00pm-3:00pm on Sunday, June 28, 2015 at McKinney-Landreth & Carroll Funeral and Cremation Service. Memorial service will be held at 3:00pm at the A.C. McKinney Memorial Chapel with burial to follow at Cliffside cemetery.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to your favorite charity in his memory.
