Clarence Ottis Mellon

Clarence Ottis Mellon, 75, of Belwood-Lawndale Road, Lawndale, died
Wednesday, December 13, 2017 at Hospice at Wendover in Shelby.

Born January 4, 1942 in Cleveland County, he was a son of the late Clarence
Clayton Mellon and Ruby Estelle Beatty Mellon. He was retired from Carolina
Freight Carriers as a dock worker and was a member of Zoar Baptist Church.

Survivors include his wife of 57 years, Nadine Blanton Mellon; son, Chuck
Mellon and wife, Paula of Waco; two daughters, Fonda Keener and husband,
Frankie and Tracey Eubanks and husband, Ricky all of Lawndale; a sister,
Barbara Head of Loris, SC; fourteen grandchildren; twenty-two great
grandchildren and two great-great grandchildren.

Visitation will be 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM, Friday at Stamey-Tysinger Funeral
Home

Funeral service will be 2:00 PM, Friday at Stamey-Tysinger Funeral Home
Chapel with Rev. Kenneth Rabon officiating.

Burial will follow in Rose Hill Memorial Park, Fallston.
