CHERRYVILLE- Dennis Dean Raines, 69 of Cherryville passed away April 25, 2018. He was born June 15, 1948 in Richmond County to the late Ransom and Mary Belle McCaskill Raines.

In addition to his wife of 48 years, Rebecca Rudisill Raines, Dean is survived by his two children, Jason Raines and wife, Stacey of Cherryville and Jennifer Long and husband, Brian of Rutherfordton; and 6 grandchildren.

Funeral services were held at St. Mark's Lutheran Church. Burial followed in the church cemetery.
