Florence "Kitty" Harris, age 77 of Lawndale, NC, passed away December 25, 2022 at Atrium Health in Shelby.

She is survived by her children, Sonya Stubbs (Wade), Jon Harris, Vincent Tod Harris, and William Steven Harris, four grandchildren, Christa Wilson (Ben), Ahren Harris, Scott Harris, and Felicia Sanders (Jason), six great grandchildren, a brother, Joe Jackson (Velma), and twenty-eight nieces and nephews.

Born August 7, 1945 in Girardeau County, MO, Kitty was the daughter of the late Clarence and Alma Rose Jackson and was preceded in death by her husband, Jack Harris, a brother, Vincent Jackson, and four sisters, Rosemary Kjer, Jean Martin, Ann Hamilton, and Lillian Blattel.

Kitty was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and friend to all. She enjoyed watching her favorite baseball team, the St. Louis Cardinals, and spending time with her family and friends.

A memorial service will be held in Scotts City, Missouri at a later date.
