On Saturday April 11th, the Foothills Farmer's Market opened their 2015 season. One of the biggest crowds ever ushered in the new season. Suffice to say, it was curb to curb people! There was a variety of crowd pleasing purveyors. Whether you wanted plants, herbs, flowers, baked goods, handmade soap, coffee, meats, eggs, or arts & crafts, it was all there for you and "100% local guaranteed". The Foothills Farmer's Market operates on Washington Street in Uptown Shelby every Saturday from 8am until 12noon. Coming Soon: The Market will celebrate their relocation & grand opening at the new shade pavilion on May 16th at the corner of Marion & Morgan Streets in Shelby.
