| Foothills Farmers’ Market Draws Big Crowd |

Saturday, April 12th marked the second Saturday of the 2014 Foothills Farmers’ Market season in Uptown Shelby. A large crowd turned out to shop for locally produced items including: plants, produce, baked goods, eggs, beef, pork, chicken, trout, fresh cut flowers, handmade soap and artwork to list a few. The Uptown Shelby market is held on Washington Street each Saturday and Wednesday from 8 am until noon. The Kings Mountain market is held each Saturday from 8am until noon on Railroad Street in downtown Kings Mountain, NC. Visit foothillsfarmersmarket.com for more information.
