John Martin Williams 1956-2024

'Marty', 68, of Shelby passed away at Atrium Health Cleveland Hospital on Dec 30,2024. Born on Long Island, NY, Marty was a resident of Shelby for 32 years

Marty was preceded in death by his parents Doris and John of Shelby, and sister Christine Palmatier of NY. He is survived by his brother Bill of Shelby, sister Barbara of SD, brother-in-law Christopher Palmatier of NY and niece Gwen Matson(Zach and son Bryer) of NY.

Marty was trained as a professional baker and won awards for his baking and decorating. He worked for several bakeries while in NY. He held various other jobs including parts warehouse worker/driver and security guard. He enjoyed being active and loved time spent with family and friends.

He will be greatly missed by family, friends and neighbors. To respect his wishes, there will be no services.
