Larry Dean Martin, 71, of Kings Mountain, NC, passed away on August 26, 2019 at The Brian Center in Gastonia, NC. He was born in Cleveland County, NC, to the late John Ross Martin and Annie Lois Sprouse Martin. Larry worked as a carpenter most of his life and loved woodworking well after his retirement. He enjoyed traveling to the mountains and camping. Larry was a faithful Christian who loved going to church and sharing his faith with others. He was a loving father and grandfather who loved spending time with, and being protective of, his loved ones. Larry will be missed greatly by his loving family.

Brothers: James Allen Martin (Phyllis), Gastonia, NC and John Phillip Martin (Donna), Kings Mountain, NC

Grandchildren: Jamie Dysart (Claire), Courtney Moore, Chloe Archer, Grady and Dusty McCurry, and Ethan and Seth Hawks

Great Grandchild: Oliver Dysart

MEMORIAL SERVICE: Friday, August 30, 2019 at 3:00 PM at the Ollie Harris Memorial Chapel with Pastor Linda Greene officiating

VISITATION: Friday, August 30, 2019 from 2:00 PM to 2:50 PM prior to the service in the parlor of Harris Funeral Home
