Ms. Melissa Davis, 51, of Gastonia, NC, passed away on Tuesday, June 3, 2025, at Caro Mont Regional Center in Gastonia, NC. Born in Cleveland County, NC, on November 13, 1973, she was the daughter of Martha Ann Huskey Davis and John Clarence Davis.

Melissa was a socializer and loved being around family and friends. She enjoyed eating good food. She also loved karaoke and listening to music. She attended Shelby High School and was employed as a Retail Associate at Hamrick's and the Avenue.

She was preceded in death by grandparents and other relatives and friends.

She leaves cherished memories to her children, Mario Davis of Shelby, NC, Alex Davis and Jay Jefferson of Gastonia, NC; siblings, Netashia Dawkins (Brian) of Gaffney, SC, John Davis (Betty), Raven Quinn, and Kanahna Hall, all of Gastonia, NC; her parents, Martha Davis of Shelby, NC, and John Clarence Davis of Gastonia, NC; grandchildren, Kaiden Keener; significant other, Deanna Tate; and a host of nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.

Viewing and reception of friends will took place on Sunday, June 8, 2025 from 4:00-5:30 PM at S.T. Enloe Memorial Chapel. Enloe Mortuary was in charge of services.
