The Mt. Zion Baptist Church seniors had their monthly meeting and lunch on May 23, 2017 in Casar. The guest speaker was Major Joel Shores from the Cleveland County Sheriff's Department. There were two other very special guests present, Mr. Huston "Hoot" Waters age 95 and Mr. Hugh Hunt, age 95. The two gentlemen have known each other for many years. Mr. Hunt is Carol Meade's brother. Everyone had a great time chatting during the luncheon. Mr. Hunt drove himself to the meeting and has just renewed his driver's license!
