After 25 years of being located inside Charleston Place, the Tag Office has moved to a new location in Shelby. Manager, Lindy Wease said:  “We like the windows and openness of this location and all the counters are lower and more customer friendly. We wanted to update our facility and have easier access. We believe our customers will find it better in many ways. We also have a handicap accessible desk.” Mrs. Wease’s mother, Diane Padgett, was the original contract agent. After remodeling, the Agency moved October 6th and is located next to the new Shade Pavilion, which is presently being built and will be the permanent home of the uptown Foothills Farmers’ Market. The Tag Office is open Monday through Friday from 9 am to 5 pm and their phone number is 704-487-4551.
