Clinton -- Peggy Jane Cartee, 67, of 28373 Highway 76 East, passed away Monday, March 13th, 2017, at Hospice of the Carolina Foothills.

Born in Gaffney, she was the daughter of the late Walter and Ila Medley Cartee.

Surviving Ms. Cartee are one sister, Phyllis Russell, of Gaffney; a brother-in-law, Tot Upchurch; three nephews, Roger Upchurch and wife, Brenda, Tommy Upchurch, and Rusty Russell; two nieces, Pam Ruppe and husband, David, and Libby Ray; and several great-nephews and nieces.

In addition to her parents, Ms. Cartee was preceded in death by a brother, Robert Cartee, and a sister, Nonnie Upchurch.

Memorial services will be held Thursday, March 16th, 2017, at 4:00 pm in the Gordon Mortuary Chapel, 400 West Cherokee Street Blacksburg, SC 29702, with Rev. Will Vergara officiating.

Memorials may be made to Hospice of Carolina Foothills, 260 Fairwinds Road, Landrum, SC 29356.

The family will be at their respective homes.
