First Grade Teacher, Lisa Smith and her students
First Grade Teacher, Lisa Smith and her students celebrated the ceremonies dedicating Springmore Elementary Schools’ new patio and courtyard. Parents and kids worked together after school and on weekends, and with community partners contributing their time and talents the project became a reality. It all was made possible when Springmore qualified for a $5000.00 Lowe’s Toolbox for Education Grant. The dedication ceremony was held on Friday, May 4th and began with a greeting by Dr. Bruce Boyles, Cleveland County Schools Superintendent and Chairman of the Cleveland County Chamber.
