Sylvia Mosher Knight, 75, passed away on September 13, 2025.

Sylvia served in the US Navy during the Vietnam Era. During retirement Sylvia and Al enjoyed traveling on cruises, trips to explore new places, hiking on mountain trails and the beach. She enjoyed playing competitive games while traveling and at Shelby Senior Center. Sylvia enjoyed caring for, watching them grow and going to many of Addison and Katelyn's sports activities throughout the years.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Ernest L. Mosher and Lita A. Mosher.

Sylvia is survived by her loving husband, Alfred Knight; daughters, Joy Knight of Shelby and Beth Knight Bell of Sherrills Ford, NC; son-in-law, Wesley Bell and granddaughters, Addison and Katelyn Bell of Sherrills Ford, NC.

The family will receive friends on Thursday, September 18, 2025 from 2:00pm to 3:00pm at Stamey-Tysinger Funeral Home.

A memorial service will be held at 3:00pm on Thursday, September 18, 2025 at Stamey-Tysinger Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Terry Floyd officiating.

A private burial will be held at the Veteran's Cemetery in Black Mountain, NC.

Sylvia requests no flowers. If desired she would prefer donations to the donor's choice of veteran's association, Hospice Cleveland County, St. Jude's Children Hospital or Neil Senior Center of Cleveland County.
