The first ever Uptown Shelby “Taste of the Holidays” was greatly attended and a huge success. Uptown Shelby Association said they were very pleased with the turnout and sold 500 passports. Each passport holder received dining samples, drink specials, store discounts and giveaways. The event’s Dining & Shopping Crawl was held 5 til 9pm on Thursday, November 3rd. There were thirteen businesses participating. Pictured Chef Thomas Tessneer of Smoke on the Square offers some succulent Black Angus prime rib to guests Ron and Heather Fouts. They said the prime rib was “excellent”.
