Noah Lesser and Jonas Guffey, members of CCC's Yeti Cross Country team, traveled to Fort Dodge, Iowa for the National Junior College Athletic Association (NJCAA) Cross Country National Championships on November 14.

The Yeti runners competed as individuals in the Division II race. Lesser's time of 29:02.3 over the 8K course broke the school record, which he set earlier in the season, by three tenths of a second.

Guffey finished with a time of 30:16, which was a personal best over an 8K course.

Both Lesser and Guffey were named to the Region 10 All Region team, and Lesser was named the Region 10 DII Runner of the Year.

Hosted by Iowa Central Community College, the National Championship meet was composed of runners and teams from Division I, II and III programs.
